Body of Famous Jeweler Found with Gunshot Wounds in Yerevan
A tragic incident occurred today, April 17, in Yerevan, according to Shamshyan.com. Around 18:20, the Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs received a report that an ambulance crew was dispatched to a residence on Nikol Duman Street, where they discovered the body of a man with gunshot wounds.
As reported by the website, law enforcement officials found the body of 55-year-old resident Tovmas A. in a room that was used as a workshop in the mentioned house. He was seated on a chair with a firearm in his left hand, which, according to preliminary information, suggests he may have committed suicide.
A criminal case has been initiated by the Arabkir Investigative Department regarding the incident. Following the investigator's decision, a forensic examination of the body has been ordered.
According to G. Shamshyan's information, the man who allegedly committed suicide was a recognized jeweler.
