Under the current law, this is considered our interference in editorial policy. In other words, they are free to operate, not just as journalists but to become propagandists, encouraging calls for violence. Self-regulation will not help here. Clear norms are needed, which will ensure that the journalistic profession is not replaced by all this. Let me give you an example: we have the 'Igorts' program, where a very good journalist works, and one thing surprises him a lot – he says that the speeches of Aliyev are more frequent in your media than those of your leader. In other words, we are spreading the speeches and propaganda of your country's enemy,” stated Tigran Hakobyan, the President of the HRA, in the National Assembly.
