Jordan Warns of Catastrophic Consequences

Jordan has warned of "catastrophic consequences" if Israeli forces again attack the Al-Aqsa Mosque, according to CNN.

If the Israeli police "attack worshippers again," it will "push the situation towards more tension and violence, which everyone will pay for," said Sinan al-Majali, spokesperson for the Kingdom's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

According to Jordan's Foreign Ministry, Israeli authorities are responsible for the escalation "in Jerusalem and all occupied Palestinian territories." They described the actions of Israeli security forces as terrorism against worshippers.
