Putin Approves New Foreign Policy Concept for Russia
Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree today approving the updated foreign policy concept of Russia. He made this announcement during a meeting with permanent members of the Security Council of the Russian Federation.
According to the Russian president, the new foreign policy concept will serve as a basis for practical actions in the medium and long term. He stated, “This is a well-considered document that will serve as a foundation for our practical actions in the medium and longer term.”
Putin emphasized that the new concept provides a solid doctrinal foundation for further international work. He urged officials connected to the implementation of a unified foreign policy to pay special attention to expanding ties with constructive partners and creating conditions for unfriendly countries to abandon their hostile policies toward Russia.
