Former US President Believes Ukraine Could be Destroyed Within a Year and a Half

During the ongoing conflict, Ukraine could be completely destroyed. This was stated by former United States President Donald Trump in an interview with Fox News.

According to him, if the conflict is not resolved, Ukraine will not exist even before the presidential elections in the US. He claimed that he would be able to achieve peace within a day once elected president, but the elections will only take place in 2024. The politician urged that the conflict in Ukraine be resolved as quickly as possible.

“There is a year and a half before the elections. I can’t imagine what might happen during this time,” said the former president. Trump added that “the war must end because Ukraine is being destroyed.”

Trump also mentioned that those currently in power in the US are “people who don’t know what they are doing.” He reiterated his belief that he could negotiate with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky and resolve the conflict.
