Aliyev Appoints Special Representative for Berdzor (Lachin) Region

The President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, has signed a decree appointing Masim Mamedov as the special representative of the President in the Berdzor (Lachin) region. This information was disseminated by the press service of Aliyev's administration.

It is worth noting that since December 12 of last year, activists backed by the Azerbaijani authorities have unlawfully blockaded the Lachin corridor. Despite numerous condemnations from international figures, countries, and various organizations, Baku continues to subject the 120,000 residents of Artsakh to humanitarian disaster.
