Possible Upcoming Tripartite Meeting: Mirzoyan

"My assessment is unequivocal: a sufficiently constructive and sincere conversation took place between me and Minister Lavrov," stated the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, providing details from his recent visit to Moscow.

According to him, both bilateral agenda items and regional issues were discussed. "I emphasized Azerbaijan's aggressive stance. Regarding the alleged actions in the Lachin corridor, if you recall, the three countries signed a text in the trilateral statement of November 9, stipulating that the Lachin corridor remains under the control of Russian peacekeepers, and Azerbaijan guarantees the movement of traffic through the corridor. And thus, these two countries have duties regarding the opening of the corridor," he noted.

Mirzoyan also mentioned that the possibility of holding a tripartite meeting of the foreign ministers of Armenia, Russia, and Azerbaijan was discussed. "There is a possibility for such a meeting in the near future."
