Two Officials from the City Hall Arrested
Within the framework of a criminal investigation being conducted by the Anti-Corruption Committee, former head of the Yerevan City Hall, Seyran Mejlumyan, and Deputy Chief of the Department of Architecture and Urban Development, Acting Chief Davit Dallakyan were arrested today. This information was reported by Radar Armenia from the Anti-Corruption Committee.
Authorities did not specify the reasons for their arrest, stating that they would release additional information on the matter in a subsequent announcement.
It has been disclosed that this criminal case is not related to the alleged abuses during the coronavirus pandemic, in which Deputy Mayor Gevorg Simonian was detained.
