Foreign Ministers of Armenia, Russia, and Azerbaijan to Meet Soon
Armenian officials have confirmed Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's statements regarding the Armenian side's readiness for a new meeting. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov made this assertion during a joint press conference in Moscow with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, addressing the upcoming meeting of the foreign ministers of Armenia, Russia, and Azerbaijan.
“We will choose suitable dates for all three ministers in the near future,” Lavrov stated.
It is noteworthy that a meeting was initially planned in December 2022 in Moscow for the heads of the foreign policy agencies of the three countries, namely Armenia, Russia, and Azerbaijan. However, on December 22, it became clear that the meeting between Foreign Ministers Sergey Lavrov, Ararat Mirzoyan, and Jeyhun Bayramov would not take place due to the situation created in the Lachin corridor, which prevented Ararat Mirzoyan from traveling to Moscow.
