Ned Price Calls on Baku to Respect Human Rights and Freedoms
The United States is concerned about Azerbaijan's recent law regarding political parties. This was stated by U.S. State Department spokesman Ned Price on his Twitter account.
“We urge the authorities to consider the recommendations of the Venice Commission and the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights and to respect fundamental freedoms, including the right to assembly,” Price wrote.
