Pashinyan Meets with CSTO Secretary General
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has discussed the current situation in the CSTO responsibility zone with CSTO Secretary General Imangali Tasmagambetov.
Pashinyan congratulated Tasmagambetov on assuming the role of CSTO Secretary General and wished him effective work. The two exchanged views on the situation in the CSTO responsibility zone, regional developments, and security challenges.
In this context, they addressed a number of issues related to the Armenian-Azerbaijani border situation and CSTO collective defense mechanisms.
Earlier, it was reported that Pashinyan had been in Jermuk, where he held several meetings, familiarized himself with the consequences of Azerbaijan's attacks on Armenia's sovereign territory in September 2022, met with officials, and later visited Yerablur.
