What Alen Simonyan Responded to Azerbaijani Journalists' Questions: The Q&A Was Not Released
After my speech in Bahrain, Azerbaijani journalists approached me and asked me to answer two questions. This was reported on Facebook by Alen Simonyan, the Speaker of the National Assembly.
He also noted, “In response, I said that, in any case, you won't broadcast it. “No, no, what are you saying, REAL TV will definitely broadcast it,” the journalist replied to me.
They asked about the gunfire that resulted in the deaths of three police officers in Artsakh. I said, “Don’t play with people’s lives; we are not transporting weapons to Artsakh, don’t look for them in vain.”
The second question was about the mines. I responded that even the International Court of Justice has recorded that there is no such thing.
Until now, no part of that interview has been published. Instead, praises resonate about how Sagiba Gafarova, the President of the Azerbaijan Parliament, exposed the lies of the Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia, stating that the Lachin corridor is actually open and that Armenians have occupied their territories for 30 years, and so on. In short, it’s a new presentation of an old Azerbaijani record.
I wish freedom to the people and press of the neighboring country.
