Baku Plans to Resettle Hundreds of Thousands of Former Refugees in Nagorno-Karabakh: Aliyev
The President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, has announced plans to resettle more than four hundred former Azerbaijani refugees in the occupied territories of Artsakh. This information was reported by RIA Novosti.
“One of our main plans for the future is the restoration of the 'liberated territories' of Karabakh… Now this area, which is equivalent to the territory of modern Lebanon, is completely devastated. We have already developed a program and have implemented the first pilot project by resettling more than four hundred former refugees. We intend to resettle hundreds of thousands of former refugees,” said Aliyev during a meeting with leaders of leading German companies in Berlin.
