Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defence Threatens Armenia
Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defence has demanded that Armenia "cease the supply of weapons to Nagorno-Karabakh."
“Once again, we warn that Armenia must immediately and permanently stop the supply of military goods to Azerbaijani territory, as well as the deployment and rotation of personnel of the Armenian armed forces,” the statement from the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence reads.
The statement further emphasizes, “Armenian troops must be completely withdrawn from our territory. Otherwise, Azerbaijan will be forced to take necessary measures to disarm and neutralize illegal armed groups, using all available options.”
“The ongoing events and the continuation of illegal military transfers from Armenia reaffirm the need to ensure a control regime along the Lachin corridor within Azerbaijan's sovereign territory,” the Ministry of Defence highlighted.
