Yerevan Has Not Found Our Proposal Acceptable: Bayramov
Armenia has rejected Baku's proposal to establish checkpoints along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, stated Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov.
"Official Yerevan has not found the proposal to open a checkpoint at the Azerbaijani-Armenian conditional border acceptable," Bayramov told reporters on Friday.
He also emphasized that Armenia dismissed this proposal without providing any explanation. According to him, this fact demonstrates that Yerevan is not interested in fulfilling the obligations it undertook under the trilateral statement.
