“No Scenario Is Planned for the Presence of NATO Forces in Ukraine,” Says Spain’s Foreign Minister
Western countries do not plan to send their military personnel to Ukraine to participate in the conflict. This statement was made by Spain's Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares, as reported by TASS.
“No scenario is planned for the presence of Spanish, European, or NATO troops in Ukraine, either by the Spanish government, the EU, or NATO, and this must be as clear as possible,” said the Foreign Minister of the Kingdom in an interview with EFE.
Albares also asserted that all military aid provided to Kyiv is for “defensive purposes.” “We are all united in supporting Ukraine as much as necessary,” Albares stated.
