Ukraine Now Has More Favorable Conditions for Negotiations: Lukashenko
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has stated that Ukraine currently has more favorable conditions for conducting peace negotiations. He made this announcement during a meeting with Belarusian and foreign journalists, as reported by BelTA.
The Belarusian leader pointed out that every war ends with peace. “Now favorable conditions have been created for Ukraine. End this war and move forward,” he said.
Lukashenko expressed confidence that if Ukraine genuinely begins peace negotiations, everyone will support it. “I will be the first one to sit at the negotiation table,” concluded the Belarusian leader.
Earlier, Alexander Lukashenko had discussed under what conditions Belarus might become involved in the conflict in Ukraine on behalf of the Russian Federation. He emphasized that Minsk would only be prepared to engage in the conflict if Belarus were to be subjected to aggression.
