Video: Vehicles trapped in snow on the Gyumri-Yerevan road in the Lanjik section

Environmentalist Levon Galstyan has shared a video on his Facebook page, stating: “Check this out to understand what is happening in the Lanjik section of the Gyumri-Yerevan road.”

As of February 6 at 12:10 PM, the Mastara-Lanjik road is closed to all types of vehicles due to heavy snow and lack of visibility. This information is reported by the Road Department Foundation. It is also noted that there are severe snowstorms in the Aparan and Ararat regions, making the roads difficult to navigate.

Furthermore, as of 12:20 PM, the section of the road from Artashavan to Tsilkar (heading towards Vanadzor) is also closed due to heavy snow and lack of visibility. Hence, the department urges drivers to refrain from traveling on those routes.
