Video: Ship Loaded With 860 Tons of Grain Sinks at Odessa Port
A Romanian ship loaded with 860 tons of Ukrainian grain has sunk at the port of Reni in Odessa. Romanian media report this incident.
According to the shipowner, the accident occurred during loading operations. Water flooded the engine area, and five Romanian crew members managed to be evacuated, but they were unable to save the vessel.
According to Vesselfinder, it is likely that the vessel in question is the Pronto, which frequently travels between the ports of Romania, Moldova, and Ukraine.
The circumstances are being investigated.
