Citizen Raises Alarm About Poor Condition of Yerablur Entrance
Facebook user Eduard Hayrumyan has raised concerns about the poor condition of the entrance to the Yerablur military pantheon.
“Yerevan Municipality, Malatia-Sebastia administrative district -- please take action to restore the lights at the main entrance of the Yerablur pantheon and their pedestals. There are also several exposed live wires. All the photos were taken last night,” he wrote, sharing the images alongside.
Later, the user updated, “Regarding the entrance of the Yerablur pantheon - The municipality will urgently replace the lights and broken bulbs. The pedestals (the tombs of the lights) will not be renovated at this moment, as this street is scheduled for major renovation in the 2023 Yerevan program, and the tombs will be moved about half a meter away from the street into the green area to protect them from future vehicle collisions.
Thank you to Ms. Kristina Vardanyan and the former and current leaders of the Malatia-Sebastia administrative district for their quick response and readiness.”
