We Are Aware of the Pressure the West is Exerting on Belgrade: Peskov
Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov stated during a press briefing that Russian authorities are aware of the pressure the West is exerting on Belgrade. According to Peskov, the Kremlin highly values the position of the Serbian authorities and President Aleksandar Vučić.
"We are fully aware of the unprecedented pressure being applied by the West on the Serbian leadership. The leadership has so far managed to withstand this pressure," Peskov said.
Previously, Peskov had announced that Russia greatly appreciates its relations with Serbia. The press secretary of the Russian President emphasized that these ties have deep historical roots and significant prospects for the future.
Prior to this, Vučić had stated that Serbia will not join NATO and will maintain its position on military neutrality.
