In the Closed Meeting of the CP, It Was Decided: Vahan Naribekyan Will Resign
According to the newspaper "Zhoghavorhd," during a closed meeting of the Civil Contract faction held in the National Assembly yesterday, it was decided that the assistants of the deputies will not receive bonuses, the topic will be closed, but the head of the NA staff, Vahan Naribekyan, will resign.
Armlur.am reported that the Civil Contract faction is holding a closed meeting in the National Assembly.
We wrote that the main topic of the meeting is an initiative by faction leader Hayk Konjoryan and secretary Arthur Hovhannisyan along with their assistants.
It is noteworthy that the assistants of the ruling party deputies are demanding bonuses from the President of the National Assembly Alen Simonyan and the head of staff Vahan Naribekyan.
They are seeking to allocate bonuses for the assistants of the ruling faction deputies; however, legally, bonuses in the National Assembly are only available to state employees who are professionals.
And all the blame has fallen on the head of staff. Deputies Arthur Hovhannisyan and Hayk Konjoryan had set a goal to secure these bonuses at all costs. Otherwise, they stipulated that the head of the NA staff must resign with his team.
Thus, it was decided that there will be no bonuses, and Vahan Naribekyan will bid farewell to his position. He will submit his resignation in the coming days.
