Any US Military Action Will Lead to War, Iranian Representation

Iran's permanent representation at the UN has warned that any US military action against the Islamic Republic will lead to war, according to Newsweek.

“From Iran's perspective, any level of military action would result in the US entering into war. At this moment, Iran considers such a possibility to be valid,” the Iranian diplomatic mission stated.

Sources at the Pentagon told the newspaper that the US has not launched any strikes against Iran and is not conducting any actions there.

Earlier, Israeli authorities announced that attacks on Iran had achieved their objectives. According to The Wall Street Journal, on Sunday, Israeli external intelligence agency Mossad conducted an attack on Iran. A powerful explosion occurred in Iran on the night of January 29. Iran's Ministry of Defense stated that it was an “unsuccessful attack” carried out by drones.
