VIDEO: How a Crocodile Delivered the Body of a Drowned 4-Year-Old Boy to Rescuers

The British Daily Mail has published a remarkable video claiming that in Indonesia, a crocodile transported the body of a drowned four-year-old boy on its back. The source notes that the child, Muhammad Ziyad Wijaya, had been missing for two days while search efforts were underway.

In the video shot in the Mahakam River, a 3-meter-long predator can be seen carrying the child's body on its back and delivering it to a nearby fishing boat. Upon reaching the boat, the animal drops the body and swims away, after which the fishermen retrieve the body from the water.

However, according to Newsweek, these were not fishermen, but rather rescue workers. The leader of the rescue team, Melkanius Koto, stated that they were aware of the incident and believed that the crocodile had assisted in their efforts. Local media outlets reported that there were no signs of bites or any other injuries on the child’s body.
