I Rely on the CSTO, Although It May Let Us Down: Nikol Pashinyan
The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, believes that Armenia can achieve peace if it is able to establish tolerant relations with Turkey and Azerbaijan, as well as develop relationships with Iran and Georgia.
"This is the formula for peace; of course, we must also utilize the resources of the international community that can assist us in this matter," he stated during a press conference.
The Prime Minister announced that he is placing his hopes on the CSTO. "I rely on the CSTO; however, it may let us down," he emphasized.
Pashinyan expresses faith in the normalization of relations with Azerbaijan and Turkey for one main reason: before doing anything, one must believe. "If we do not believe, why are we negotiating? Are we just pretending?" he noted.
