Erdogan Accuses Arms Dealers of Profiting from Ukrainian Crisis
Turkey is the only country that is negotiating with both Russia and Ukraine for a peaceful resolution while simultaneously witnessing the enrichment of arms dealers due to the inaction of the international community and the Ukrainian crisis. This statement was made by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan during a meeting in Antalya. According to TASS, Erdogan's remarks were quoted by TRT 1 on Sunday.
“Has the international community taken any steps to resolve the conflict? Everyone is helping arms dealers. We are thinking about how to ensure peace, so we are simultaneously talking to Putin and Zelensky. We sincerely continue to make efforts in this direction,” Erdogan stated.
It is worth mentioning that on February 24, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the start of a special military operation in Ukraine.
