6-Year-Old Boy Shoots Teacher in the US
A 6-year-old student has shot and injured a teacher at an elementary school in Virginia, USA. According to reports from AP, none of the students were harmed during the shooting incident at Richneck Elementary School. The 30-year-old teacher has sustained life-threatening injuries.
Police stated that the child had access to a handgun, and investigators are working to determine how he obtained it. The police chief did not provide additional details about any disputes that may have occurred within the school or what could have led to the incident.
Virginia law does not allow for the prosecution of 6-year-olds. However, a judge in juvenile cases has the authority to revoke parental custody and place the child in the care of social services.
