VIDEO: Bomb Threat Leads to Emergency Landing of Jetstar Aircraft in Japan
A Jetstar airline aircraft made an emergency landing at a Japanese airport following a bomb threat. Reports indicate that information about a 100 kg bomb on board was received while the plane was en route from Narita Airport to Fukuoka, according to NHK.
The bomb threat was conveyed via a phone call by a man speaking in English, although his number was registered in Germany.
The aircraft made an urgent landing at Chubu Airport, with all 136 passengers and 6 crew members evacuated. During the evacuation, six people sustained minor injuries.
