Canada to Provide All Necessary Winter Assistance to Ukraine: Trudeau
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has promised to provide all necessary winter assistance to Ukraine during a phone conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
“Our support for Ukraine and Ukrainians remains unwavering. I made that clear to President Zelensky today when we spoke on the phone, and I indicated to him that we will ensure they have everything necessary for winter—whatever is required,” Trudeau stated on Twitter last night.
In an evening address, President Zelensky expressed gratitude to the Canadian authorities for their support and noted that his conversation with Trudeau was the fourth international call he made since the beginning of the year. The Ukrainian president has also reached out to the prime ministers of the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, and Norway.
