Lithuania Freezes Nearly €87 Million of Russian and Belarusian Companies' Assets
Due to sanctions, Lithuania has currently frozen assets amounting to nearly €87 million belonging to Russian and Belarusian companies, as reported by the Lithuanian Ministry of the Interior, citing data from the Financial Crime Investigation Service (SFIS).
Among the frozen assets, €77.88 million comes from Russian companies, while €8.9 million is from Belarusian companies. As of December 20, the agency has imposed sanctions on 16 legal and natural persons, freezing the financial resources of 9 enterprises from Russia and six companies and one individual from Belarus.
