The U.S. Will Not Benefit from the Presence of Instability in the CIS Region, Says Russian Deputy Foreign Minister

The U.S. will not benefit from the presence of instability in the CIS region. This was stated to TASS by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin.

“In response to the question of who benefits from the presence of unstable areas in the CIS, I can say that globally thinking, no one benefits from them, not even the United States, which stops at nothing to achieve its short-term goals,” he said.

The Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) is a regional intergovernmental organization formed on December 8, 1991. The member states of the CIS include the post-Soviet countries: Armenia, Russia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, and Tajikistan.
