4-Month-Old Baby in Critical Condition Cannot Be Transferred to Yerevan
A 4-month-old baby in critical condition cannot be transferred to Yerevan due to the closure of the Lachin corridor by Azerbaijani forces. This information was provided to ArmLur.am by the medical center in Artsakh.
"The child’s health condition is assessed as critically stable; we are doing everything possible to stabilize the situation and are in contact with our doctors in Yerevan, which is a great help. However, in such cases, we usually send patients to Yerevan, which is currently impossible. The child has been diagnosed with a complex infectious disease," said hospital representatives.
It should be noted that earlier reports indicated that due to the blockade of the only road connecting Artsakh to Armenia by Azerbaijan, planned surgeries continue to be suspended in healthcare facilities under the jurisdiction of the Artsakh Ministry of Health.
