Zelensky Asks for 12 Billion Euros in Aid
On Tuesday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky requested participants at an international conference in Paris to support Kyiv with 12 billion euros for the restoration of Ukrainian facilities, as reported by RIA Novosti.
“In total, 11 regions have been damaged due to military operations, and more than 50,000 facilities need to be restored, which will require 12 billion euros. The energy sector alone needs urgent assistance of about 800 million euros,” Zelensky stated in a video message addressed to the conference participants.
Earlier, French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna announced that by the end of the international conference in Paris, nearly 1 billion euros had been raised for Ukraine's assistance.
