VIDEO: 'Your statement gives a green light to Azerbaijan' – Opposition leaves National Assembly

The extraordinary session of the National Assembly has commenced, initiated by the Civil Contract faction. The Civil Contract is proposing to adopt a statement regarding the humanitarian crisis caused by Azerbaijan in Nagorno-Karabakh.

Arzvik Minasyan, secretary of the Armenia faction, addressed the procedure, noting that the Civil Contract has rejected the opposition's proposed draft. 'It is better not to make this statement, as it not only harms Armenia but also assists the Turkish-Azerbaijani tandem,' he said.

Tigran Abrahamyan, secretary of the I Have Honor faction, declared that the situation is quite complex and that the scenario created in Artsakh is not only a matter of humanitarian disaster. 'Your proposed agenda is inadequate for the geopolitical situation surrounding Armenia and Artsakh,' said Abrahamyan. The opposition then left the session hall.
