Ruben Vardanyan Makes a Statement

The Minister of State of the Republic of Artsakh, Ruben Vardanyan, today held an urgent working consultation involving the heads and responsible officials of the agencies involved in Civil Protection.

Minister Vardanyan informed that an operational headquarters would be established under his leadership within the government, which will operate on a 24-hour basis to coordinate efforts in light of the situation created by the blockade of the road connecting Armenia with Azerbaijan.

Noting that the situation is quite complicated and that Artsakh is effectively under Azerbaijani blockade, the Minister emphasized that the government has all the necessary capacities and resources to manage the situation. Highlighting the need for maximum organization, coordination, and discipline among state bodies, he underscored the importance of operational communication, effective connectivity between agencies and administrative districts, as well as ensuring proper public awareness.

The heads of the agencies reported to the Minister on the situation in their respective domains, providing information about existing supplies and resources. The Minister tasked them with carrying out an inventory and providing information on urgent issues.
