Turkey Opens Oil Field in Northeast, Erdogan Announces
Turkey has opened a new oil field in the country's northeast. This was announced by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, according to Anadolu.
He stated that the crude oil reserves discovered in the Gabara mountain region amount to 150 million barrels.
Erdogan mentioned that the value of the reserves is estimated at around 12 billion dollars.
“This is one of the top 10 largest fields discovered on land in 2022,” he noted.
