Serbia to Appeal to NATO for Deployment of Serbian Peacekeepers in Kosovo: Vucic
Serbia will send a request to the commander of the NATO mission for the deployment of a Serbian contingent of security forces in Kosovo. This was announced by Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.
It was previously reported that the Kosovo police unilaterally closed the Yarinë border crossing for vehicles and pedestrians coming from Central Serbia. As already noted, the situation at the border between Kosovo and Serbia is heating up again.
In northern Kosovo, barricades have been erected following the arrest of former police officer Dejan Pantic of the unrecognized republic. Additionally, an air alarm has been declared in Kosovska Mitrovica.
