The Situation Remains Tense: What Pashinyan Said During His Meeting with Putin
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan spoke about the escalation of tension in Nagorno-Karabakh during a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“The situation remains tense for us. The resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh issue continues to be the main problem in our region. Unfortunately, we are also witnessing an increase in tension in Nagorno-Karabakh within the responsibility zone of the Russian peacekeepers,” said Pashinyan.
The Prime Minister recalled the recent closure of the Lachin corridor. “There are significant concerns regarding this situation in Nagorno-Karabakh. I hope that today we will be able to discuss all issues regarding regional security,” he added.
