Video: Simonyan on Azerbaijani Provocations in the Lachin Corridor and Armenian Indifference

Armenia has a negative stance on this issue, and let us not forget that the Lachin Corridor is under the control of Russian peacekeepers and is considered a zone of responsibility. This was stated today by the Speaker of the National Assembly, Alen Simonyan, during a meeting with journalists, responding to a question regarding a statement made on Sunday about the potential construction of checkpoints and strongholds in the Lachin Corridor following its closure by Azerbaijan. He was asked why the Armenian side did not respond and whether Armenia is indifferent to this issue.

“Efforts are underway from the Russian side in this regard since it is their responsibility zone,” Simonyan said, emphasizing that Armenia has not abandoned Artsakh and will not abandon it under any circumstances.
