Institutional Reforms Are Underway in Our Country with US Support: Nikol Pashinyan
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received the outgoing US Ambassador to Armenia, Lynne Tracy, who is concluding her diplomatic mission in the country. The Prime Minister highly appreciated the ambassador's activities during her tenure and noted that there has been dynamic development in Armenian-American relations.
Pashinyan stated that in recent years, including with US assistance, institutional reforms are being implemented in Armenia that contribute to the development and strengthening of democracy. He added that the programs carried out within the framework of Armenian-American strategic dialogue also help expand mutually beneficial ties.
Ambassador Tracy thanked the Prime Minister and the Government of Armenia for their close cooperation and emphasized that the changes happening in Armenia during her tenure have significantly contributed to advancing democracy in the country. In this context, she particularly highlighted the fight against corruption and the effective implementation of reforms in public administration.
The two sides discussed various issues related to Armenian-American relations as well as topics of mutual interest. Prime Minister Pashinyan wished Lynne Tracy continued success in her future endeavors.
