Urgent: Armenia Transfers Remains and Maps to Azerbaijan from First Nagorno-Karabakh War
On December 1, 2022, the Armenian side transferred to Azerbaijan the remains of ten individuals reportedly killed in the First Nagorno-Karabakh War, along with two maps indicating the possible locations of four bodies.
According to the National Security Service of Armenia, since November 9, 2020, the Armenian side has handed over the remains of 140 individuals killed in the First Nagorno-Karabakh War to Azerbaijan and five maps.
