“This issue can be resolved through direct negotiations between Baku and Stepanakert,” says Rubinyan
The Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, Ruben Rubinyan, spoke in parliament about security issues and addressed the diplomacy pursued by the authorities of the Republic of Armenia. He stated, “We consider that Armenia has internationally recognized borders and territories, part of which is occupied by Azerbaijan. Azerbaijani troops must withdraw immediately and unconditionally from there,” said Rubinyan.
Rubinyan also touched upon the issue of Artsakh, saying, “We believe that the rights and security of the people of Artsakh must be resolved, as otherwise it would mean the depopulation of Artsakh or the genocide of its people. We believe that this issue can be resolved through direct negotiations between Baku and Stepanakert, with the participation of international mechanisms.”
