VIDEO: "The Danger Always Exists... There Have Always Been Shots After September 12-13" - Papikyan
Since September 12-13, there have always been shots fired at the border. This was stated by Minister of Defense Suren Papikyan during a conversation with reporters at the National Assembly today, December 1, while responding to journalists' questions about the situation at the border.
“At this moment, I have no further comments. The Ministry of Defense releases official statements every day,” he said.
When asked if there is a threat of war, Suren Papikyan replied, “People, the threat of war always exists.”
Regarding the acquisition of weapons from India, Suren Papikyan mentioned that he would not discuss confidential information.
After making these statements, Suren Papikyan rushed to enter an elevator, followed by security personnel. However, the elevator did not move. Journalists warned the security personnel that they were too many, and even with a strong desire, the elevator doors would not close, requiring some of them to exit.
Two people exited the elevator, and again the doors did not close, forcing everyone to exit. The incident even elicited a laugh from Suren Papikyan, revealing that the security personnel intended to “rescue” him from the journalists, but due to the elevator issue, he was brought back to the journalists.
