Georgia to Build New Military Base
Georgia's Ministry of Defense announced the construction of a military base for special operations forces in Mukhrovani, a town located less than an hour from Tbilisi. This announcement was made during a ceremonial gathering held in honor of the 23rd anniversary of special operations units.
The modern center for special operations forces will fully comply with NATO standards. The project's estimated cost is approximately 70 million Lari (around 26 million dollars) and is expected to be completed within two years.
