Tehran Never Adjusts Relations with One Side at the Expense of Another
Armenia and Azerbaijan are neighbors of Iran, and Tehran never adjusts its relations with one side at the expense of another. This was stated by Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian during a press conference with journalists, as reported by IRNA.
He emphasized that relevant officials in the region have assured Iran that there will be no geopolitical changes, and there should be no such concerns. The foreign minister also added that Iran has no aspirations towards the territory of any neighboring country, including Azerbaijan.
“We have clearly told all actors in the Caucasus that any geopolitical change in the region will be met with a serious response from Iran,” said Amir-Abdollahian.
