Vivaro Owners Purchase Vigen Sargsyan's Luxurious Home for $2.5 Million Despite Ongoing Criminal Case
Former Armenian Minister of Defense Vigen Sargsyan has sold two apartments he owns on Northern Avenue in Yerevan. Civilnet reports this development. A criminal case related to these properties has been ongoing since early 2019, but no arrest or seizure had been placed on the apartments for more than three years. The seizure was only executed on April 22 of this year, one day after the sale, when the transactions had already been completed.
The buyers are the family of the owners of Vivaro. The parties signed the purchase agreement within a single day, and the funds were transferred to Sargsyan's family. The notary has certified the agreement, and they have applied to the Cadastre for registration.
It was only after all this that the Investigative Committee decided to place the property under seizure. The main figures in this story include Vigen Sargsyan, Vivaro, Vahe Badalyan's son, who is a co-owner of Vivaro and SoftConstruct, the Investigative Committee, and the Cadastre Committee.
