Lebanon Extradites Saddam Hussein's Relative to Iraq
On November 9, Lebanon extradited a man who is a relative of Saddam Hussein to Iraq. The man is accused of participating in ISIS massacres, according to Al Arabia, citing security sources.
Iraqi media reports that Abdullah Sabawi, born in 1994, is a nephew of Saddam Hussein. He is accused of being a member of ISIS and participating in the 2014 Spicher massacre, during which the extremist group executed up to 1,700 air force cadets. He was apprehended on June 11 at the request of Interpol. Following this, Iraq requested his extradition.
Sabawi's family denies the accusations. According to his relatives, the young man was in Yemen at the time of the massacres.
