Erdogan Calls Putin
Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has discussed the situation surrounding the grain deal during a phone conversation with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin, reported Erdogan's office, as noted by RIA Novosti.
“President Recep Tayyip Erdogan had a phone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin. During the conversation, regional issues were discussed, particularly the latest developments in the Russia-Ukraine war. President Erdogan stated that Ankara would continue to implement necessary initiatives to address issues related to the execution of the grain supply memorandum,” the statement said.
