What Lavrov Announced During Meeting with Mirzoyan
Russia is ready to contribute to the implementation of the tripartite statements by the leaders of the Russian Federation, Armenia, and Azerbaijan and discuss what needs to be done for their prompt realization, stated Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov during a meeting with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan. This was reported by RIA Novosti.
“We certainly want to discuss how your negotiations with Azerbaijan are progressing today. I am aware that there have been recent interactions in Europe, and there are various rumors and speculations in the media. Of course, it will be important today to consider what we can do to expedite the implementation of the three tripartite statements by the leaders of Russia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan,” said Lavrov.
He noted that much has already been done for resolution, including towards the unblocking of transport communications, and there are “contours” for demarcation.
