Mirzoyan and Bayramov to Meet: Details
In Astana, a meeting will take place between the Foreign Ministers of Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Russia: Ararat Mirzoyan, Jeyhun Bayramov, and Sergey Lavrov. This information was reported by Vahan Hunanian, spokesperson for the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
"At the initiative of the Russian side, a meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Armenia, Russia, and Azerbaijan is scheduled to be held on October 14 in Astana," he said.
It was announced today that Mirzoyan will be on a working visit to Kazakhstan's capital from October 12 to 14 to participate in the CIS Foreign Ministers' Council meeting.
It should be noted that the previous meeting between Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov took place on October 2 in Geneva. According to the Armenian Foreign Ministry’s statement, during the meeting, Mirzoyan reaffirmed the Armenian side's position on the withdrawal of Azerbaijani troops from the sovereign territory of Armenia and the immediate release of all Armenian prisoners of war. The importance of establishing international mechanisms for monitoring the border situation was also highlighted.
